As the sun rises in Aviemore on 19th September 2024, GBRf Class 66/7 No 66738 ‘Huddersfield Town FC' and Class 73/9 No. 73969 arrive with the Inverness section of the Caledonian night sleeper from London Euston. This train splits into 3 trains in Edinburgh where these 2 locos join to take 6 coaches forward to Inverness. 6 coaches go to Fort William and 4 to Aberdeen.
