After its appearance at the Waterloo Open Day on 1st October LSWR M7 245 made an unexpected return to Waterloo on 3rd October having been sent the wrong way from Clapham Yard. A Special Traffic move saw the loco sent from Waterloo North Sdgs, on its way to York NRM, on 5th October 1988.
