The Embsay station at the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway, seen on 31st August 2024, was on the Skipton to Ilkley Line of the Midland Railway and opened on 1st October 1888. and eventually closed in March 1965. The station was re-opened by the Yorkshire Dales Railway (now the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway) on 22nd February 1981, and has been refurbished to resemble its appearance in the days of the LMS.
