The LCGB 1980 tour of Greece was a rare opportunity for steam in the country. On the first day of the tour on 20th April 1980, on the metre gauge Peloponnese Section, Class Es 2-8-0 No. 7721 (Linke Hoffmann 3034/1925) is train loco on the special 19:51 Diakopton to Patras. Pilot loco was Class Da 2-8-2 No. 7108 (Vulcan Iron Works 4707/1947).
