GBRf Class 60 No. 60047 Scafell Pike heads through Long Preston on 5th July 2024 with the 12.54 Ribblehead Virtual Quarry - Tuebrook Sidings loaded box wagons conveying stone from Horton Quarry. A direct connection from Horton Quarry to the main line at Horton in Ribblesdale is being constructed which will end the need for the virtual quarry at Ribblehead.
