On 25th June 2024, Still wearing some form of Avanti colours complete with XC Logos is Class 221 No. 221116 which is pictured arriving at Oxford with a service to Manchester Piccadilly. This unit entered service earlier in the month and still retains its 'Dinas Bangor / City of Bangor' Nameplates.
