The 10:50 Euston to Glasgow Central 'Royal Scot' makes its first booked call at Preston on 7th October 1993 hauled by Class 87 No. 87010 'King Arthur' with classmate No. 87016 'Willesden Intercity Depot' DIT. No. 87010 is now resident in Bulgaria, and No. 87016 was withdrawn in 2004 and taken to the Ministry of Defence at Caerwent.
