The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's '201 at 30' railtour on 15th June 2024 marked the 30-year anniversary of the arrival of the first 201 class locomotive in Ireland. However, due to the lack of availability of serviceable 201-class locos at Inchicore, the first leg, from Dublin Heuston to Kildare was worked by 071 class No. 084. From Kildare, 201 class loco No. 219 worked the rest of the tour back to Dublin and thence to Rosslare Europort and return. No. 219 is seen backing onto the tour stock at Kildare, with No. 081 just visible at the far end of the train.
