Hanson & Hall Class 50 No. 50008 'Thunderer' departs Maiden Newton on 26th May 2024, with the outward leg of the Branch Line Society 'Millbrook Meander' charter from Eastleigh to Weymouth. Out of sight at the rear of the train is Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66509 'Josiah's Wish'. Two late running service trains meant that the charter was 40 minutes behind schedule at this point.
