Enthusiasts gather at the north end of Bewdley station awaiting the recovery of failed Peak Class 46 No. 182 on 19th May 2024, day 4 of the SVR Spring Diesel Festival. The Peak shut down on the viaduct awaiting the road into the station with the 11:25 from Bridgnorth. Class 37/0 No. 37263, in the far distance, was sent to recover the failure and haul the train forward to Kidderminster while BR Class 50 No. 50035 Ark Royal waits patiently at platform 1 with the road north blocked by the failure. Despite over an hours delay the timetable ended up just 45 minutes out for the remainder of the day.
