Pathfinder Tours' Cwm and Glo excursion of 9th March 2024 took in the Uskmouth and Cwmbargoed branches as well as a number of loops in South Wales. The tour started at Burton-on-Trent and was worked by DB Class 66/0 locomotives Nos. 66070 and 66050 throughout. Here No. 66070 leads the return leg as it descends the Cwmbargoed branch and is passing the site of the former Nant-y-ffin drift mine.
