On the 7th March 2024 Class 57 No. 57303 enters Newcastle with the Branch Line Society 'Thunderbirds Are Go' railtour from Derby to Lithlingow. This was a positioning move ahead of the BWC 2 Scottish Excursion railtour over the next couple of days raising money for the Martin House Hospice.
