Following a week running via the WCML with a single Class 56 and a shortened load the Carlisle to Chirk logs returned to its usual S&C routing with a pair of locomotives and full load on 25th January 2024 Colas Class 56 No. 56105 and 56049 Robin of Templecombe power through Long Preston with the 12.52 Carlisle Yard - Chirk Kronospan loaded timber carriers.
