The services of Newark based ECML Class 47/4 'Thunderbird' No. 47848 were called upon on 16th January 2024 when Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66953 was assisted from Claypole Loop with the 05:10 Felixstowe North FLT to Leeds FLT working. No. 47848 passes Retford with the errant Class 66 and its heavily loaded train.
