Having been transferred from the North West earlier in the week Northern Class 331/0 No. 331008 stand at Ilkley on 29th November 2023 with the 18.04 service to Leeds. it is planned to use the three carriage Class 331/0 in pairs on the Airedale and Wharfedale lines to improve capacity over the four carriage Class 331/1 which are heading to the North West. Meanwhile, single Class 331/0 as seen here provides a capacity decrease.
