A regular Stratford Class 37 turn on the ECML in 1966 was the 0400 Ripple Lane to Wrenthorpe (Wakefield) new cars working. on 16th June 1966 No. D6714 was in charge as the train passed Tuxford. Later becoming No. 37014, and lastly No. 37709, it was withdrawn in 2007 and cut up in 2011 at EMR, Kingsbury.
