The smokebox number plate provides the only identification of Tebay (12E) allocated LMS Class 4 No. 43033 as it ambles up Shap bank with a northbound engineers train on the hot afternoon of 9th June 1966. Reallocated to Lostock Hall (10D) in April 1967, it was withdrawn from there in March 1968.
