Busy scene at Hellifield station on 9th October 2023 as DRS Class 68 No. 68033 The Poppy departs from the goods loop having just arrived from Skipton and reversed to proceed to Blackburn with the 11.30 RHTT working from Carlisle Kingmoor which covers routes in Cumbria, North Yorkshire and Lancashire. Classmate No. 68022 Resolution is on the rear. Alongside is Colas Class 56 No. 56096 shunting the 18.13 Hellifield Goods Loops - Chirk Kronospan timber carriers which have just been loaded in the yard.
