Tamper Unit No. DR80208, enters Preston with the 1001 move from Nuneaton to Carlisle High Wapping Sidings, on 6th October 2023.The very imposing building in the background was opened in 1883 as the Railway station Hotel, and later became the Park Hotel which closed in the 1950's, and has been empty ever since.
