A farewell Cross Country HST tour from Leeds to Swanage and return was arranged by the Branch Line Society and Modern Railways magazine to operate on 26th September 2023. This tour ran with the heading of 'Pines Express' and the outbound run is seen on the Swanage Branch Line at Holme Lane just a mile from accessing the branch line at Worgret Junction. Leading the set is BR Class 43 power car No. 43007, classmate No. 43008 is on the rear.
