A possible long term restoration or spares project, is Simplex 4wDM No. 60SD755 Built 1980 that once worked for the NCB at Allerton Bywater Colliery. It is seen in one of the sheds at Apedale Valley on 17th September 2023, during the Apedale Valley Light Railways Autumn Steam Gala.
