Running very late on 3rd July 2023, WCR Class 47/4, No. 47804 is noted passing thru Willington, 65 minutes down, on the 10:45 Bournemouth to Saltburn excursion. The trip was beset with problems, firstly with fallen trees in Dorset and then locomotive issues at Milford Jct. Even with Class 57/6, No. 57601 on the rear, another locomotive was needed. Class 47/4 No. 47813 was sent from Hellifield Goods Loops to provide more power and the strickened excursion finally reached Saltburn 95 minutes late.
