Due to ASLEF strike action, Class 86/2 No. 86259 Les Ross/Peter Pan has the WCML to itself on 3rd June 2023, as it hauls The Railway Touring Company's Cumbrian Mountain Express, 0654 London Euston - Carlisle. Other than freight workings, this was the only passenger service, albeit a charter train, on the southern section of the WCML that day, along with the return working, of course.
