DR 2-10-0, Class 50 No. 503648, having come off a special from Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof, hands over to a pair of CD Class 742 diesels in Cranzahl on 20th May 2023. The CD Class with No. 742 242 heading and No. 742 421 on the rear, took the train on to Karlovy Vary via Chomutov in the Czech Republic due to weight issues on the CD tracks. The train returned later in the day when the Class 50 replaced the two CD Class 742 diesels and worked the special back to Chemnitz running tender first.
