NSW Class 36 4-6-0 No. 3642 was built in 1926 by Clyde Engineering and was used on passenger workings until 1969. No. 3642 was refurbished for use at the New South Wales Rail Museum at Thirlmere from 1970 to 1996, where it is seen on 18th April 2023, and further recently renovated and kept in running order at Thirlmere.
