A busy scene at Ropley on 30th April 2023, the second day of the Mid Hants Railway Spring Steam Gala. Urie S15 Class No. 506 (30506) takes on water and will depart with the 12:05 from Alresford to Alton, while GWR 5205 Class 2-8-0 No. 5239 'Goliath' arrives with the 11:45 from Alton to Alresford. In the background is Castle Class No. 4079 'Pendennis Castle' which will re-enter service in the afternoon, following repairs.
