Running ahead of the Great Britain XV Scarborough to Kings Lynn tour train on 22nd April 2023 having taken advantage of the Sleaford avoiding line West Coast Rail Class 47 No. 47802 enters Spalding station having worked from York Parcels Sidings. It will join up with the tour train at Peterborough for the remainder of the journey.
