WCRC Class 57/0 No. 57012 travelled from Carnforth to Barrow Hill on 28th March 2023 where it was coupled to Class 55 Deltic No. 55009 'Alycidon', and the pair then went forward as the 13:09 light engines to Carnforth with the Deltic leading and No. 57012 acting as safeguard, and are seen passing Clay Mills.
