Signalling issues in the Loughborough area on the morning of 21st March 2023, resulted in a number of diversions, one being barrier coach move from Leicester LIP to Litchurch Lane. Class 50, No. 50049 ‘Defiance' top and tail with 50007 ‘Hercules' heads thru Willington having been diverted via Nuneaton, Water Orton and Burton on Trent.
