Frost and mist at Althorpe on 8th February 1982 as a Swindon four-car Cross-Country set (No. E52100 leading) together with a Derby two-car set cross Keadby Bridge over the River Trent forming the 0826 Cleethorpes to Manchester Piccadilly service. No. E5210 still carries its Western Region fleet number 710 some years after its transfer.
