On 17th February 2023, DRC Class 66/4 No. 66423 arrives in the goods loop at Hellifield with the 12.32 Carlisle Yard - Crewe Basford Hall engineers working which on this occasion had no traffic and was therefore a 'light engine' movement. The 24H shedplate on the planter is a reminder of the days of Hellifield depot, opened in 1880 and closed in 1963.
