On 31st January 2023, SLC operated HST power cars, Class 43/4 Nos. 43468 and 43480 pass thru Willington on a circular tour from Kings Norton to Nuneaton, Leicester, Loughborough, Castle Donnington, Burton on Trent and Water Orton back to Kings Norton Ot Plant, hauling two barrier wagons.
