The Class 40 Preservation Society owned D345 (40145) heads away from Derby at Breadsall in charge of the Pathfinder Tours, 'The North Eastern Christmas Markets' 06:25 Swindon to Newcastle.
40145 had been put up front at Derby replacing 57010 which had brought the tour up from Swindon top and tail 57012 on 3rd December 2022.
