A rare opportunity occurred on 5th November 2022, to observe a day time locomotive working on the Wharfedale line when DRS Class 37 No. 37419 Carl Haviland and No. 37401 Mary Queen of Scots operated an RHTT diagram originating in York. With No. 37419 leading following a reversal at Ilkley, the 13.28 Ilkley - Leeds via Skipton working heads through Burley in Wharfedale running 30 minutes late.
