The last train of the Spa Valley Summer Diesel Gala usually utilises all the locos used over the gala weekend and is known as the 'LoadEx'. On 14th August 2022, the working approaches Poke Hill Crossing, led by Class 73/1 No. 73141 Charlotte, Class 24 No. D5054 Phil Southern, Class 25 No. D7612, Class 73/1 No. 73140, Class 33/0 No. 33063 R J Mitchell and Class 31/4 No. 31430 Sister Dora.
