On 3rd August 2022, Saphos Trains ran The William Shakespeare charter from Carnforth to Stratford upon Avon, hauled by LMS Royal Scot Class No. 46100 Royal Scot from Crewe with LSL Class 47 No. 47828 on the rear. The booked move to Dorridge to turn the stock was cancelled and the return journey to Carnforth was made in the reverse formation. The Class 47 is seen leading on the approach to Widney Manor with Royal Scot on the rear.
