SR Merchant Navy Class Pacific No. 35028 'Clan Line' makes easy work of the steep climb of Parkstone Bank on 9th July 2022, with the Railway Touring Company 'The End of Southern Steam' charter, returning from Weymouth to London Waterloo. Out of sight at the rear of the train, Class 47 No. 47245 does not appear to be providing any additional traction. 'Clan Line' gives two long blasts from the whistle as it runs through Parkstone station.
