MPVs Nos. DR98962 and DR 98912 worked Margam to Margam via the Machen branch, Newport and the Ebbw Vale branch on weedspray duties on 26th June 2022. A lunchtime break was taken at Park Junction, where the units recessed in the very rarely used Five Whistle Road siding, and are seen paused here while Class 170 No. 170203 passes on an Ebbw Vale to Cardiff Central via Newport service.
