An appropriate locomotive for the weekend's celebrations, Jubilee class No. 45596 'Bahamas' heads the 'Jubilee Buxton Spa Express' passing Barber Booth, Edale on the 1 in 100 climb to Cowburn tunnel on 4th June 2022. The Railway Touring Co charter was diesel hauled from West Ealing to Barrow Hill where steam traction took over for the run to Buxton via Sheffield and the Hope Valley.
