On 31st May 2022, GBRF operated Class 56 No. 56081 with barrier vehicle No. 6393 hauled withdrawn GWR Class 43 power cars Nos. 43197, 43193 and 43069 from Plymouth Laira to Sims metals at Newport docks for disposal. Running as the 10:56 Plymouth Laira T&RSMD to Newport docks (Sims), the train passes Cullompton.
