A south-bound train (destination Gold Coast) traverses the temporary bypass track skirting the tunnel entrance construction at Dutton Park. This tunnel is the major part of the new Cross River Rail project to connect southern suburbs with the Brisbane CBD and northern suburbs. In doing so there will be new stations including the Gabba cricket ground and the inner city. The floodlights of the Gabaa are on the visible horizon.
