S&DJR 2-8-0 No. 53809 looks like it is up for a repaint as the tender paintwork is being flatted down with only just over a week till the spring steam gala where it is due to appear. The loco is in steam after standing out over the winter and is also being used to steam test the Mk1 coach attached to it on 24th March 2022.
