EE Type 3 No. 6871 pilots Brush Type 2 No. 5524 at Heck heading a southbound haul of chemical tanks on 30th January 1974. Work on the new M62 motorway is in progress in the background. With TOPS No. 6871 became 37171, and later No. 37690, while 5524 became No. 31106.
