A northbound ECML express passing Great Heck behind Class 47/4 No. 47448 of Crewe Depot (CD) on 19th August 1974. The area to the left of the train is now the site of Plasmor building blocks factory and private sidings, while also the site of the fatal crash on 28th February 2001, in which Driver Steve Dunn and others lost their lives.
