DB Class 66/0 No. 66035 descends cautiously through the Taff Bargoed valley on the approach to Bedlinog on 14th January 2022, with a loaded coal working from Cwmbargoed to Margam. The freight-only branch will likely close later this year once mining at the Ffos y Fran site finishes.
