On 20th December 2021, fter late running engineering possession and a broken down Tamper caused the Newhaven line to be blocked, the Neasden to Newhaven Marine had to be diverted to Hampden Park for reversal before being taken back to Action. The crossover at Hampden Park is seldom used. Here, DBC Class 66/0 No. 66135 hauls the train from the down line at Hampden Park as it commences it journey back to Acton TC. DBC locomotives are seldom seen in Eastbourne.
