A view looking north from Mill Road Bridge, Cambridge showing progress being made with new stabling and carriage wash facilities. The works have included modification of one of the bridge's arches to allow an additional track to run beneath the bridge and link with the existing sidings and access to Cambridge station. The project has not been without controversy due to the proximity of the washer to Great Eastern Street and potential noise disturbance to residents when in operation at night.
