InterCity Class 86/2 No. 86207 'City of Lichfield' leads DVT No. 82134 and Mk 3 empty stock southbound through Stafford on 24th March 1990. The sight of a locomotive hauling a DVT and stock in this manner was a common occurrence on the WCML, mostly due to control problems between the locomotive and DVT. 24.03.1990
