Colas class 37 no. 37116 stands in the goods loop at Hellifield station on 8 October 2021 with the 14.15 Blackpool North - Derby RTC Network Rail test train. Having arrived via Preston and Blackburn the train will next work to Carnforth and Morecambe. Classmate no. 37219 Jonty Jarvis is on the rear. It looks increasingly likely that the class 37s used on these workings will be replaced by class 43 power cars in the near future.
