Due to engineering works in the Manchester Victoria area through TPE trains to and from the north east were either cancelled or diverted to Manchester Piccadilly and an hourly shuttle service was operating between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Airport. TPE Class 185 No. 185145 provides a mid morning such service as it enters Manchester Oxford Rd on 10th August 2021
